Cursed Text Generator
T̴̖̖̍͐h̴̗̗̍͐e̴̘̘̍͐ classic zalgo effect. Marks stack above, through and below each letter until the text overflows its line — and unlike most zalgo tools, the same input always gives the same output.

How it is built
Unicode lets a mark attach to the character before it — an accent, a cedilla, a line through. Nothing limits how many can attach. Stack six on one letter and your device dutifully draws all six, extending upward and downward past the line box until it collides with whatever else is on screen.
Use it once, not everywhere
The effect only works against normal text. A whole post of it reads as noise rather than corruption, and it is completely opaque to screen readers, which will attempt to announce every mark by name.
Please use these sparingly
Screen readers do not cope well with substituted characters. Depending on the app, a styled word is read out one letter at a time, read as a string of symbol names, or skipped entirely. Someone using a screen reader may simply never receive that part of your profile.
One styled phrase in a bio is a design choice. An entire profile in styled characters shuts people out, and search cannot read it either. Keep your name, your job and your link in plain letters.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the output the same every time?
Most zalgo tools pick marks at random, so you cannot get the same result twice and a reload loses what you made. This one picks them by letter position instead. The text still looks chaotic, but you can come back and reproduce it exactly.
What is zalgo text?
It is a name from a 2004 internet horror comic where corrupted speech was drawn as overflowing text. The technique is just Unicode combining marks used far beyond what they were designed for — any number of them can attach to one letter.
Why do some sites remove it?
Because it overlaps other people’s posts and makes threads unreadable. Many platforms cap the number of combining marks they will draw, or strip them on save. Nothing is lost on your side — the app decided not to render it.
Is this a font I have to install?
No. These are real Unicode characters that happen to look styled. The look is part of the character itself, so it travels with the text. Nobody needs to install anything to see it.
Why do some styles show as empty boxes?
A box means the device you are looking at has no font covering that character. Older Android phones hit this most often. Check your text on a phone before you put it in a bio, and prefer the styles near the top of the page — they are the widely supported ones.
Will fancy text hurt my search visibility?
It can. Search treats a styled letter as a different character from the plain one, so a name written in fancy text will not match when somebody searches the normal spelling. Keep your name and the important words plain, and decorate around them.
